"How to Deliver Engaging Coaching Sessions for 12-16 Year Olds"

Following the success of our recent Coach Development Event at Callington Community College, Cornwall FA is excited to announce two additional dates for our "How to Deliver Engaging Coaching Sessions for 12-16 Year Olds" workshop. These sessions are designed to help coaches working with players from 12-16 age groups, offering valuable insights and practical tips for creating engaging and age-appropriate sessions.

If you couldn’t attend our Callington event, don’t worry – we’ve got two more opportunities coming up, one in East Cornwall and one in West Cornwall, so all coaches have the chance to benefit from this valuable training.

What to Expect:

This workshop, led by Abs Kheir, from FA Grassroots Coach Education team and supported by Craig Ainslie. The session focuses on how to create fun, engaging, and educational sessions for players aged 12 to 16. Whether you're coaching a grassroots team or working with more advanced players, this event will provide you with the tools and techniques needed to improve your coaching and help your players develop.

The session includes both classroom learning and practical demonstrations on the pitch, giving you real-time feedback and examples that you can take back to your training sessions.

Who Should Attend?

This event is ideal for coaches working with U12 to U18 teams, whether you’re looking to refresh your approach or learn new ways to engage and motivate your players. It’s open to all coaches across Cornwall, so we encourage you to register for the date and location that works best for you.
